You deserve both clarity & compassion in this process.
I offer both.
The most loving thing we can do for the people we care about is to make things easier for them when we are no longer here.
I primarily work with individuals who want to thoughtfully prepare for the administration of their estate before their death. Together, we create a clear, comprehensive, and organized plan so that the person you’ve chosen as your executor is not left overwhelmed, confused, or scrambling for information during a time of grief.
With more than 20 years of experience in crisis management planning and response, I specialize in bringing clarity to complex situations. I know how to anticipate challenges, organize critical information, and translate moving parts into structured, manageable plans. In our work together, we gather documents, outline accounts and assets, clarify wishes, and build a detailed roadmap that guides your executor step by step through what will need to happen.
This process is not just about paperwork. It is about care.
A well-prepared plan reduces stress, prevents costly mistakes, and spares your loved ones from having to make avoidable decisions while their hearts are breaking. It allows them to focus on grieving and honoring your life rather than searching for passwords, policies, or paperwork.
While my primary focus is proactive planning, I also support individuals and families who are already in the aftermath of a loss. When someone you love dies, the volume of decisions, deadlines, and administrative tasks can feel relentless. In those moments, I bring the same steady structure and compassionate presence — helping you prioritize, organize, and move forward one clear step at a time.
Whether you are planning ahead as an act of love or navigating the weight of immediate loss, my role is the same: to create order where there is overwhelm, to bring calm to complexity, and to ensure nothing important is left undone.
Meet Julie Hock
Julie spent more than two decades at the top of her field as a business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management professional in corporate America, primarily within financial services. Over the course of her career, she earned some of the most respected credentials in her industry — including the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation from the Disaster Recovery Institute International, membership with the Business Continuity Institute, and certifications in Change Management, Business Continuity Management System Auditing, and ISO 22301 Lead Auditing from leading international resilience organizations. She knew how to prepare people and organizations for the unexpected. But after reaching the top of her game, she found herself ready for a new challenge — one with a more personal kind of purpose.
The turning point came when Julie sat down with representatives to talk through her personal wishes. They were honored to take on the responsibility, and Julie already had a quick reference guide ready for them — but the intensity of their request made clear they needed more. They wanted complete clarity: detailed information, step-by-step action items, and the structure that would allow them to act with confidence during an incredibly difficult time. As she expanded the guide to meet that need, she had a sudden realization — this was a crisis management plan. She pulled up her professional templates, and everything clicked into place. She had spent 20 years doing this for corporations, and now she could offer this to the people who matter most.
This insight gave birth to Lighthouse Legacy Solutions. Julie helps individuals create comprehensive end-of-life transition plans that give their personal representatives the clarity, structure, and confidence to navigate one of the hardest responsibilities they'll ever face.
As a member of the Professionals of After Loss Services (PALS), Julie brings both professional rigor and deep compassion to this work — because she believes that one of the greatest gifts you can leave behind is a plan that protects the people you love from unnecessary stress and uncertainty.
